Quick look at Intention, Learning Experience, Assessment, and Ways Forward. The full session-by-session log is in the DOCX download.
Learners identify features of persuasive texts, analyze techniques in haiku and opinion editorials, synthesize information from multiple sources, and compose original persuasive pieces tied to Philippine community issues.
Four sessions move from feature identification and quick-write activation, to guided analysis of haiku and editorials, comparative synthesis activities, and collaborative drafting of persuasive haiku and editorial outputs.
Formative assessment uses feature charts, pair annotations, and group synthesis maps with teacher feedback each session. Learners submit completed charts and revised drafts to show progress.
Extension: learners collect a short persuasive text from their community (barangay announcement, campaign poster) and identify persuasive techniques. Additional templates and oral rehearsal supports are in the downloadable plan.
