By the end of the week, learners identify, analyze, evaluate, and compose expository texts using sequence/process structure, anchored on Philippine examples such as The Legend of Mariang Makiling.
Four-session I Do–We Do–You Do sequence: learners explore everyday step-by-step processes, analyze sequence signal words, map events in a Philippine legend, evaluate clarity in sample texts, and draft an expository paragraph for a local context.
Formative checks each session include highlighted sequence texts, completed sequence charts, and annotated revisions. Learners receive immediate feedback through sticky-note ordering tasks and help cards.
Extension: learners interview a family member about a step-by-step process at home and bring steps for class sharing. Scaffolds include color overlays, audio support, and sentence starters in the full DOCX plan.
